BUY OLIVENZA

You're not "picky". You have taste.

Who wants a shelf-stable “cooking oil” that tastes like nothing? You deserve olive oil that makes warm bread feel like a delectable meal. That adds bold overtones to your favourite tomatoes. An olive oil that doesn't just... disappear into a dish. But makes it jump off the table.

From early-harvested and cold-pressed Picual olives. In a town with a tradition.

Olive variety

The Picual variety of olives (famous around the world for their smooth, harmonious taste!) make Olivenza the premium yet versatile olive oil it is today.

Low acidity

Carefully produced from early-harvest olives, Olivenza's acidity level is below 0.8° – keeping its summery taste profile clean and pure.

Bold flavour

Olivenza's green, vibrant aromas will make your mouth water, from its subtle notes of tomatoes and bell peppers to its medium-spicy aftertaste.

Olivenza. Making each meal an experience

  • Made from single-origin, early-harvest Picual olives
  • Summery notes of freshly cut grass and herbs, also tomatoes and bell peppers
  • Mildly bitter and medium-spicy aftertaste that enhances other flavours

To get the most out of your Olivenza oil, use it raw on your salads, dressings or pasta. (Also perfect for dressings, sauces or even cooking!)

And in case you're wondering...

What makes Olivenza a premium (EVOO) olive oil?

It's true that Olivenza is an EVOO (extra virgin olive oil), which is the highest quality category of olive oils there is. But the secret that makes Olivenza a truly premium olive oil character has more to do with how (and from what) it's made:

  • Exclusively from Picual olives, a variety prized for its naturally high antioxidant content, bold personality and exceptional stability
  • Picual olive oils are also famous for their fresh green notes, gentle bitterness and a distinctive peppery finish – all sensory markers of top-quality olive oil
  • From harvest to extraction, the oil is obtained solely through mechanical processes, without chemical refining, preserving its natural flavour, aroma and nutritional value.
  • Olivenza also meets strict quality parameters, such as low acidity (below 0.8°), low peroxide levels and zero sensory defects. These guarantee freshness and careful handling at every stage.

The combination of these factors is what makes Olivenza a truly premium EVOO.
How long will Olivenza stay fresh?

We recommend that – to get the best possible flavour – you use Olivenza up until two years have passed since the production of your bottle's oil batch. (If you store it correctly, of course.)

Don't worry: like all EVOO olive oils, Olivenza won't spoil suddenly after that date. But its flavour, aroma and intensity will gradually soften over time. So for the best sensory experience, we suggest enjoying it well within the two-year period.

(To make sure your Olivenza olive oil stays fresh, store the bottle in a cool, dry place away from heat and direct light, and always close it tightly after use.)

What are Olivenza's quality parameters?

Like we said, Olivenza is a premium EVOO olive oil. This shows up in our specifications too:

  • Acidity % < 0.8
  • Peroxide value mEq O₂/kg < 20
  • Ethyl esters ≤ 30
  • K232 ≤ 2.5

How is Olivenza different from supermarket olive oils?

The biggest differences between Olivenza and supermarket olive oils lies in flavour, freshness and quality control.

Most supermarket olive oils are blended for consistency and mildness, so they taste more neutral. While this means they can more easily melt into the flavour of a dish, it also means they lack the fresh, vibrant character of a high-quality EVOO.

Olivenza, made from the Picual variety of olives, has a bolder personality. You'll notice fresh green notes — like grass, tomatoes or bell peppers — along with a gentle bitterness and a slight peppery sensation at the back of your throat.

(That peppery finish isn't a flaw, by the way: it's a natural sign of the antioxidants that signal freshness and quality.)

Olivenza also meets strict extra virgin standards, including low acidity and zero sensory defects. This is because our olives were handled and processed carefully.

This signature flavour profile makes Olivenza a standout choice for anyone who wants to taste the difference that quality makes.
